After 20 Years, I Finally Completed My Childhood Pokémon Sticker Collection

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always loved Pokémon stickers and cards. I remember how I collected the entire first generation of Pokémon, and later the third generation too. Eventually, my mom gave all my cards to my nephew—everything went to him. I still remember I had cards from the Three Kingdoms—like the Battle of Chibi and the Battle of Guandu—as well as cards from Xiaodangjia Water Margin and Xiaowanxiong Water Margin. I also had the original Pokémon cards and those released later around 2001 to 2002. And of course, the first and third generation Pokémon stickers left a deep impression on me. I remember sticking my extra third-gen Pokémon stickers all over my “Little Dragon Man” lollipop box—the whole box was covered. That memory is still so vivid.

It’s been about ten months since I stepped back into the world of card collecting. My first purchase was in December 2014, when I bought Water Margin cards. After that, I went on to collect a full set of large and small cards from Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, as well as the first 36 and last 36 cards of the second generation Saint Seiya Fuma cards. I also managed to collect the complete set of first-gen Pokémon stickers.

First, I want to thank my card-collecting friend “Anhao. Binian” for helping me fulfill my dream. He sold me his complete first-gen Pokémon sticker set and even replaced the old packaging with his new one—I’m really grateful for that.

A few days ago, with the enthusiastic help of another collector, “I’m a Painter,” I acquired a third-gen Pokémon sticker album. The album was only missing two stickers: an Eevee and a Jigglypuff. I already had an Eevee in my collection, and after searching for a few days, luck was on my side. With the help of yet another friend, “Cat-Face Boy,” he carefully removed the Jigglypuff sticker from his own third-gen album and gave it to me. I was truly moved. Thank you all for helping me achieve my dream—now I have both the first and third generations of Pokémon stickers complete!

There are still so many cards I want to collect next, so thanks, everyone, for your support.

Now, I’ll share some photos of my collection box, as well as the first and third gen Pokémon stickers for you all to enjoy.
